Set between mountainside jungle and the Pacific coastline, Manuel Antonio is a luxury boutique hotel conceived as a quiet framework for experiencing one of Costa Rica’s most singular landscapes. The project includes a mid-rise hotel, villas, and a beach club, each shaped to recede into its surroundings rather than compete with them. Softened building edges, light-touch siting, and a locally grounded material palette allow the architecture to be gradually engulfed by the forest. Across the property, the guest experience moves between awe and intimacy: expansive ocean and jungle views give way to protected rooms within the landscape.

Drawing from Costa Rican materials, colors, topography, wildlife, and climate, the design seeks to create a five-star hospitality experience that feels authentic, enduring, and deeply respectful of place.
